Because there’s only two sides to this issue, of course. Science and the Book of Genesis. No mention of Flying Spaghetti Monsters, or how we were all hatched from the bottom of Great Red Bird of Heaven. And then there’s the aliens-left-us-here people, and the Scientologists. Now that would be talking about all the sides.
Bush is such a weaselly little liar, too…I mean, if you think the Bible is literally true and dinosaurs (ie, Jesus horses) died in the Flood along with the unicorns, than say so. You’re still an idiot, but you’re an honest idiot. None of this “people should get both sides” crap. As though you should debate whether God created the universe in the classroom.
I propose new curricula devoted to discussing how many angels can dance on the head of a pin, exactly how far down in the Earth’s crust Hell is located, and whether you get wings right away when you get to Heaven or you have to earn them by helping George Bailey discover he is what keeps Old Man Potter from ruining Bedford Falls.

First of all, HA!
Second, I found a link to an AFA survey regarding ID via Dawnie. Really, it doesn’t even deserve that title. Perhaps “survey” would be more appropriate. Let’s all screw with the AFA’s statistics by voting against the tidal wave support for teaching ID in schools.
